Garden of the Gods Sunrise

One day in November, I woke up at 5am and drove to Garden of the Gods to capture the sunrise. As I began the hike, the sky started to lighten up. The photo location was off trail a ways, so now I was trying to run up a wooded mountain in the half-light without destroying the plant life! After a while, I made it to the location – on time, to my relief. As I photographed, the entire scene lit up before my eyes. The entire experience was amazing, totally worth it!!!
